On the Farm

The weather during March has been excellent all our Spring Barley has now been sown, we are growing the variety Concerto again this year which is grown for malting (makes whisky).

Our Winter oilseed rape and Wheat have come through the winter well and are now growing with this warm snap that we are experiencing.

We will be starting to plant potatoes on the farm at the beginning of April which is a little bit earlier than normal, but the ground conditions and soil temperatures are good, which will allow us to get planting.

Hopefully we get a nice hot Summer with some rain in the evenings to keep the crops growing, and keep you all Happy in the Adventure Park.
